North Coast

The North coastline of Mombasa is a world of fascinating beauty lined with palm fringed beaches and the inviting waters of the Indian Ocean. The North coast has intriguing sights ranging from the beaches of Nyali, Vipingo Kikambala and Shanzu which are home to a wide range of world class resorts, Kilifi Creek, offshore reefs to Hell’s Kitchen which is an eroded sandstorm gorge with cliffs and red rocks heaving themselves into a stunning landscape.

South Coast

The south coast of Kenya is world renowned for its excellent white sand beaches that looks like a perfect tropical picture postcard. It has a rustic feel partially due to its dislocation from Mombasa town to which it is connected by a ferry. The top sights in South Coast include Diani Beach, Tawi Beach, Haller Park, Fort Jesus, Shimba Hills National Reserve among others.

Malindi & Watamu

Watamu and Malindi are two towns about 20km apart on the north coast of Kenya. Malindi has all the vibrancy and culture you expect of city life. Malindi boasts of a lot of natural beauty, in the form of a number of tropical beaches and other secluded areas. Watamu provides a more of a serene location for a beach holiday with beautiful beaches and local ad traditional characteristics.

Lamu Island

Lamu Island is a distinctive beach and cultural travel destination in Kenya. It is not only a World Heritage Site as named by UNESCO but also an iconic destination for divers and snorkelers offering some of the finest coral reefs. E.A Lake-Side Beaches: Lake Victoria & Turkana

Lake Victoria is the largest African Great Lake by area, the world’s largest tropical lake, and the second largest fresh water body in the world. The shoreline is shared by Kenya (6%), Uganda (43%), and Tanzania (51%). On the shores of Lake Victoria, whether you are a birder, interested in fishing, cultural explorer, rock art and paleontology lover or just want to enjoy some beach time, there is something for everyone! The most popular activity is birdwatching, and rightfully so! Sitting at the very northern end of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Lake Turkana is the world’s largest desert lake. Lake Turkana is notable for its incredible size, the greenish-blue color (jade) of the water that is created by the presence of algae and more than 40 recorded species of fish, and the Nile crocodiles on the three crater lakes, Flamingo Lake, Crocodile Lake and Tilapia Lake, that provide breeding grounds for world’s largest concentration of Nile crocodiles.
